Problems with slide/carrier/icon/battery

I've downloaded MANY different signal bar colors/shapes, wifi bar colors, 3G icons, different battery icons, none has seemed to work and I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. I've tried with/without summerboard also. Then I followed a tutorial which I'll post the link too and still no good.

I use iPhone4 jailbroke with limera1n for iOS 4.1

if u r using another theme as well try to put your slide/carrier/icon/battery theme on the first row (top) in winterboard and respring from winterboard
