BiteSMS Landscape Alert

I've been struggling trying to figure this out for the past few days. I have two themes I use regularly, DARKSTAR and Neurotech. Here in lies the problem...

Darkstars bitesms landscape alert image works, but neurotech's wont. The file path im working in is "/private/var/stash/Themes.xxxxxx/Neurotech [HD]/Folders/biteSMS.app". The specific file name im trying to get to work is "[email protected]".

What ive done so far is copy and pasted the whole biteSMS.app folder from the darkstar dir into the neurotech dir, deleted all the files dont correspond with neurotech and pasted in the png designed for the theme. Im still stuck with the stock landscape background. So to troubleshoot i pasted the neurotech png into the darkstar dir and it works just fine.

Any idea why the image willl work for darkstar but it wont work for neurotech?

maybe the image resolution?
some images might not work if the resolution is different from the original (880x124 px).
or maybe the png format?

I've got mine working without any problem..
