    Default Shadow When Icon Is Pressed

    Is there a way to remove the i guess shadow/highlight when an icon is pressed? i cant find the answer anywhere. Thanks Guys

    install iblanks then it should add the theme no icon shadows

    that just removes the icon shadows. i need something to remove the highlight when its pressed. like in photo below.

    in the thumbnail photo. theres a big black half circle around the mail icon. see the black square in the mail icon.

    To remove the shadow you need to put a blank/transparent file named IconDarkeningOverlay.png in com.apple.springboard

    Ok sorry. You need to replace AppIconShadow.png (3G/3GS) or [email protected] (4) with a transparent file named the same. They are in /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/MobileIcons.framework
