Can't figure out auto-skin

I'm trying to autoskinning my icons on iPhone 4 with 4.2 firmware. I have followed tutorials but it just won't work!!! Any help will b greatly appreiciated. Icons are 118x120

Are you 100% saving the mask as a PNG24??

Yeah I saved it as a png and then I tried as png24. Neither one skin right. All I want is the icon to have that cross shape. App store apps end up looking like the image I uploaded

And you are placing them inside 'com.apple.mobileicons.framework' within the Bundles folder? Could you send me the psd and i'll have a look?

I have sent the files back, the white color on the 1st layer on the shadow may need contracting?
