LockBackround.png fix???

Hi all,

I can't seem to get any of my themed lockscreen images to show up. I'm running a 3Gs on FW 4.2.1 and I've only tried AfterHours, return of Crazybots and Green Prototype and all 3 will not change the lock screen. i did some searches here and thru google but no luck with those. Does anyone have a fix for this yet?

you could copy the image into your camera roll, and select it through settings>wallpaper

If you have iFile you can send it to your camera roll with a button press. Then like pen.suhl says above, add it in settings>wallpaper. iFile is a MUST for jailbreakers now because every theme needs some setting up, and iFile makes it real easy.

Thanks for the tips!!! I'm pretty much just living with it for now, but hopefully the theme's will get updated when the creator's get to it.

This is because Apple went and re-wrote the code under 4.2.1. Try searching for the following code for your LS:

<img src="/private/var/mobile/Library/SpringBoard/LockBackground.jpg">

and then replace it with (only difference is adding "Thumbnail".

<img src="/private/var/mobile/Library/SpringBoard/LockBackgroundThumbnail.jpg">
