    ] You will need↴
    - "ifile" from Cydia deleted
    - "my strings" or "MakeItMine" from Cydia. (I have both)

Create your custom logo in Photoshop or a similar program or use one already made up (its a good idea to make one white or light in colour and the other darker). The image size for iphone 4 is about 80x40 and for 3gs/3g its about 60x20. But you can tweak it alittle to suit you.

[2] Save your custom images as:

    Default_CARRIER_Custom.png
    (make this one in colour)
    &
    FSO_CARRIER_Custom.png
(make this one white or light colored)

[3] Ok open ifile and copy your two custom carrier logos to
    "System/Library/Carrier Bundles/unknown.bundle" and save them.
    Now Respring your device

The reason why I'm saying to put one in colour, and one in white is because the "Default" one is when the status bar is a light colour when visible in apps, and the "FSO" one is when the status bar is black on the springboard (but all depends on you status bar colours, so it's up to you)

    [4]
    ★MY STRINGS★
Now open "my strings" in settings and open "extras" and type where it says custom carrier "custom" (without the speech marks) then exit and Respring device

    ⇓~OR~⇑

    ★MAKEITMINE★
Open the app and type in "custom" (without the speech marks) and hit the carrier button. Then click Respring.

Your carrier logo should now be custom one you made or used.

If you want to name your logo something different, such as "Logo", then it would be:

    Deafult_CARRIER_Logo.png
    FSO_CARRIER_Logo.png
    Etc etc etc

And you would type "Logo" into Custom carrier in "MyStrings"/"MakeItMine".

You must type it into MyStrings/MakeItMine EXACTLY how you named the file, it's case sensitive

Next time, refrain from not supporting hard working devs and don't talk about cracked apps!

You can always change the AT&T images to Black_CARRIER_IPOD (color) and Silver_CARRIER_IPOD and copy to the UIImages folder thats what I do but I'm on a 3G.

You can have ifile installed I think they were talking about the cracked version (which doesn't save anyway). I suppose you could make a mini theme file for winterboard.

Everything you said is 99% the same as the guide I posted for creating a custom carrier logo for iPhone. I hope you didn't c&p mine and change a few words...
