Theme help needed
Hello, my wife saw this theme Pink Romance - iPhone themes free download and fell in love with it, she wants me to try to find out how to put it on her phone. I am a complete newb, so I have no clue how to do it. The theme says it is down loadable, if I am able to download it how hard is it to upload onto a iPhone 3G 16GB, and what will I need to have installed to be able to do it. I will need someone to give me step by step instructions, I know I am asking a lot, but everyone in this forum seems very helpful. Thank you in advance for any, and all help.

1st a jailbroken phone install open ssh in cydia and winterboard
2 you need to have either winscp or cyberduck installed on your computer
3 ssh into your phone go to var>stash>themes and create a new folder.
4 After creating the fold drag and drop the theme into the folder then save and unplug the device
% go into winter board find the theme select it and respring.Follow me @LoganWesterman

I have googled it, and found a few others. None of them are saying anything about OS or anything. I am confused.

A common mistake that many people are not aware of is that many themes are meant for Summerboard. What happens is that using Winterboard without Summerboard enabled will likely show few or no icons.
Enabling Summerboard Mode is easy. Open Winterboard, and look for a switch that says "Summerboard Mode". When first installed, the default option for "Summerboard Mode" is OFF. Change it to ON to make many themes work correctly.
If that does not work...
You want Step-by-Step instructions, here's how to do it:
Download Pink Romance from the link you provided. Notice that it is an rar extension (meaning that the files are in a folder that is compressed to a smaller size). Use an extractor tool like WinRAR, WinZip, or 7-Zip to extract the files. The folder that all these files go into should be renamed to "Pink Romance.theme".
Next, put it into your iPod Touch/Phone through SSH into this directory:
"/var/stash/Themes.xxxxxx/" and put your theme there.
Open Winterboard, select only the Pink Romance theme, enable "Summerboard Mode" and Respring (the button on the top left corner, this will restart your iPod Touch/Phone and use the Pink Romance theme).
After respringing, you should see the LockScreen, likely with images, which mean the theme worked
If you don't see any Pink Romance images, try reinstalling Winterboard.
I hope this helped
