    Default Winterboard Only Theme
I read somewhere on here about creating a theme that doesn't require summerboard mode to be on. Is there a guide or something that can explain this to me because I would love to create a theme that doesn't require summerboard as it would be faster. Thanks

There is only one way I know of to not use "Summerboard Mode". You have to go to the theme(s) you want and go to Icons, which will list things like "App Store, Music, Settings, etc." and create a Bundles and/or Folders folder.

The first Winterboard tutorial website for beginners that I would recommended is:
Hack that Phone - Make and use themes with WinterBoard
From there, you should go to "Section 3: Changing Program Icons". This will answer your question, and give you a reference for future use.
The second website is recommended for slightly more advanced users:
    Saurik's Winterboard Explanation
Saurik's webpage talks about Bundles (another version of Icons), and other uses with Winterboard (HTML Wallpaper).
    I hope this helps

I have made themes before so I guess I could be considered an intermediate themer but thanks!
