theme problem

Im not sure why, but I have an old background image that has reappeared when I updated to 4.2.1, and it is overriding the background images for my theme. I have gone in and deleted the image from my iphone 3g but its still there and I am out of ideas on what to do about it. Can anyone give a good suggestion that may help?

Try re-booting the device, I've noticed my wallpaper sticks sometimes as well.

Tried rebooting, currently trying to run my battery all the way down and leave it off for a bit before recharging.

That didnt work either.
