Default Can we edit existing skins?

Hi , i have the ielegance installed on my iphone and it's fantastic ( well done to the creator) just wanted to know if there is a way for me to create icons for my applications to match the theme and add them to it. It will only be for my personal use, just to be clear. Thanks

You can SSH into your device and pull the theme to your comp. Many themers include a photoshop file with original icon so users can make their own to go with the theme. You'll of course need Photoshop

If you'd like to know more about SSH, search the forums here. To get you started, download from your device OpenSSH and afc2add from Cydia. From there, any SSH client will work. You just gotta find one you like. WinSCP uses wifi, iFunBox and iPhoneBrowser are USB. There are plenty more out there. Afc2add is for the USB using clients. WinSCP does not require afc2add.

Yes...they are. Be sure to install afc2add from Cydia if you're going to use a USB based client.

Non HD name it Messages.png and put it in var/stash/Themes.XXXXXX/(Your theme name)/Icons

HD name it [email protected] size it up to 120x120 and put it in var/stash/Themes.XXXXXX/(Your theme name)/Bundles/com.apple.MobileSMS

Read the Sicky on themeing in 4.X which should help you also.

The icon names are incorrect. They have to be absolutely exact. They are also case sensitive. Some apps display a name on your phone but when it comes to the actual icon name, it isn't the same. Sometimes it's vice versa too, like The Weather Channel app, it's labeled TWC on the device, I'm just not sure which name goes in.

Sorry to say but I don't know. Maybe Google can help

Although, you could just download themes and open them up to look at the file names. Some themes have a huge load of icons. I really like themes with auto-create icons tho, they automatically create the icon of any app store app. But yeah, look into other themes that have a lot of icons if you can't find anything thru Google.
