Help! Backgrounds with widgets

Ok so I installed a widget called weatherfurik. I went to the code, added my location everything works. The problem is the widget changes my background. I can't change it back. If I turn the background off (by renaming it) it goes black. How can I use my own background?

put a wallpaper.png in the root of your theme folder.

I don't think I can do that with ifile. But I was thinking about that. What's causing the background to lock black?

Use iphonebrowser from your computer and drop the wallpaper.png in the root of the theme folder.

Ok. I figured out how to copy from ifile. The pic is there. Renamed. But now it is 4x too big. I used a smaller file to see if that was the problem, it wasn't. What gives?

-edit I figured out the pic needs to be exactly right or it won't scale. I tried out a standard apple one and it worked fine.
