iPhone 4 WiFi Bars on Status Bar

I found the WiFi files - System/Library/Preference Bundle/Airport Settings Bundle. I could not get them to open under their current name so I changed the file name just to see the file, Example-Wi-Fi Blue 2.png changed to WiFi_Blue_2.png.
Not sure what to do from here, I wanted to change the color so if anyone can help, thank you...

I was able to change my wifi them using winterboard.

Basically I used the old wifi images for the previous iphone and updated the folders and file names. You can use mine as a sample just copy the folder into winterboard using ssh:
