help with keyboard/dialer theme

Ok so ive downloaded a couple different keyboard and dialer and sms specific themes but when i check them in winterboard they never work... anyone know what my problem is? i feel like its somethin small im missin. thanks

if you have os 4.0+ it is not going to work!if u have os 3.1.3- than you can thme the keyboard with a app called iacces 4 from cydia..and the dialer comes with any theme for os 3.0 but winterboard needs an update for ios4
