battery header trouble ios4

yo, i'm having trouble theming the battery in my status bar (both black and silver) the battery insides are hovering above the battery bg. i've tried a few different battery inside PNGs from different themes and i get the same results, any ideas? thanks!

I haven't actually gotten around to doing it, but I found a fix for this in the following thread:

thread is like 20 pages long, its somewhere between pages 14 and 20
