Clear music play

ok, I have the iPhone 2g, its kinda laggy. Sometimes when I go to my iPod, its slow to load the files i guess, and instead of seeing album art, or the black parts behind the controls, I can see my wallpaper. I was wondering if there is a winterboard theme that would let it be like this all the time. I've been looking for a few days now and any help would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: Also, where the controls are arent totally clear, they're kinda grayed out, like behind the slider on the unlock screen
