Need help to add theme to iphone 3g

i amhaving difficulty putting the downloaded theme's from modmyi on my iphone 3g. I can ssh and get them on the phone but when I go into winterboard and select the theme, nothing happens. Ive turned off the phone and restarted. I also respringed the phone and again nothing. Is there something I have to do to the download before i ssh it to the phone. Help please!! Thanks in advance.

make sure it is at the top of the list and that it has the .theme at the end of the folder.

like Ike said try make it at the top of the list in Winterboard.
also make sure SummerBoard mode os ON.. since seems like alot of ppl get it off.

a better way the ssh is to use ifunbox. faster transfer and mush easier to use. just a tip for u.

did you jailbreak with iTunes open (just in case)? if so, redo it
