Can you add date to lockinfo clock plugin

I love lockinfo, and I love the looks of the Gruppled theme, though it's not as functional enough for me. I basically made a native version of Gruppled lockinfo by replacing the images in the High Gloss theme with the images from Gruppled. So far it looks pretty decent, though not exact. However there is one thing in particular that is bothering me, the fact that there's no date in the clock plugin to the right of the time on the section header. I noticed on the screenshots of the clock plugin it has the date there. Is there something I'm missing?
