SBSettings PowerMenu Theme
OK everyone,
I have been searching on how to theme the sbsettings power menu options with power reboot lock safe mode etc,
or looking for a theme that has this customized,
I thought I had some type of windows theme that customized this drop down options menu about 2 years ago.
anyways, anyone know the SSH location of these .pngs? even if its just the buttons,
yes I searched sbsettings theme folders
and have searched this site and google numerous times
I have yet to find a theme with this menu skinned again.
Thanks everyone.
Cheers.
I think it may be SliderFrame.png I'm after
yes brilliant, answered your own question
very helpful post for others.
ahhh maybe that is not it....
anyone?

It's using the UIImages of your theme, UIPopupAlertSheetBackground.png

SBSettings Power Menu Theme
Hi !
I join you an example package, hope it helps :
SSH it to Themes and activate it on top of your WinterBoard list for a basic try out (and to see location).
Creation :
The workspace size of the UIPopupAlertSheetBackground is 284x62 with a smaller image, its size is not fixed.
(have a look in Photoshop)
Customize buttons:
UIPopupAlertSheetDefaultButton.png = CANCEL
UIPopupAlertSheetButton.png = the 4 other buttons
UIPopupAlertSheetButtonPress.png = PRESSED
The workspace size is 11x43 (expanding)
They can be rounded, square, framed and with left and right space.Last edited by Rocky34; 05-02-2010 at 03:52 AM. Reason: added button to .zip

You're welcomeOriginally PM by chrisrotolo
Thanks again Rock
Very nice
did you get my message earlier?
thanks for the help.
I didnt notice the buttons in the other.artwork
also If I were to make my own, do the buttons have to vertical/portait as a .png?
I believe this changes all the UI popup buttons correct?
Thanks again, I think this will help others because I have not found much anywhere else on this area of skinning.
Cheers mate.
CHRIS
Yes, 43px high and 11px large (as they expand)
and
Yes, all the popups use UIPopupAlertSheetBackground.png automatically.
Give it a try, you have it ready-to-use in the zip in two background versions, a light and a dark one (must rename/ respring).
That will give you an idea of what your theme should (or shouldn't) look like.
I made them transparent, but solid is okay if preferred.

Got it.
I tried a few combonations
You had the right idea with the custom UIPopupAlertBackground, make it look like a menu background,
I ended up using your bright blue buttons, but used UIPopupAlertBackground I found from the MMI Theme.
Helpful info.
Thanks.

Screenies
your bright blue buttons with the MMI UIpopupbkgrnd
and a few of my own personal theme,
nothing too fancy, just basic.. anything but stock.
I may tone the buttons down a bit as far as brightness.

ok !

I would rather see an unframed square angled background with your theme, a bit 3D like your battery. The color looks good.
Right, you should photoshop the buttons; maybe just modifying the tint using Image>Settings>Tint/Saturation and instead of less brightness more transparency.
Which is the nice System Font you're using ? (Looks a bit like Verdana but it's not.) Which collection is it in ?Last edited by Rocky34; 05-07-2010 at 01:43 AM.

Thanks
The font is in one of the mega packs
I think it is Avalon font
I agree something Mac themed to match the battery would be ideal.
here's my current lockscreenie.
Thanks again.

Thank YOU for the font hint!
(For anybody else interested I confirm it IS
Avalon in Fonts Mega Pack.)
I'll be back home next week with more time than now and see what we can do for your popup Background.
Oh, and if you like Apple style and have LiveClock installed, have a look at LiveClock Shiny Apple Theme on Cydia.
Spectacular, your Lockscreen !!
You're welcome ^^ If you still need help come back and tell.

i used the UIPopupAlertBackground file for all my notifications lol. nice color but it would look better if it kept the original border. it just looks a little off on the edges:

can you do that or is it too hard? no biggie.

not too hard, no. You could have done it yourself ^^
(what means "biggie", please ?)
Does it look better now ?
LiveClock Shiny Apple Theme, including LiveClock Dark - hmm, candlelight...
- is on Cydia
. . . . . . . (On iPhone 4 you'll have to put both out of their "Themes"-folder. Sorry for that)
