what's wrong with it? It's the correct size.

Is not saved with transparency and is not saved as 24bit PNG.
I'm following this guidelines:
-320x480 or lower in resolution
-Needs to be RGB or Greyscale
-Needs to have an alpha channel (This means things you want black on the phone, like your background, should be transparent in your image)... If you have a solid image with a black background that you want to use, that's fine, but there NEEDs to be at least a few transparent pixel border around the whole thing when you save it as a png.
-Needs to be saved as a 24bit PNG with transparency enabled
-Needs to be less than 100K
Anyone?Last edited by tester301; 03-11-2010 at 06:30 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

Will do.
Thanks
Damn, it didn't work. Image is 181kb. Needs to be 100 or less.
The problem is that I used Paint to make the original attachment. I think that if someone uses my original pic and crops it like I want in photoshop or other editing program the kb's size will be the one needed.Last edited by tester301; 03-11-2010 at 07:06 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

Hey,
Thanks for the help. But in order to use the image as a boot logo it must be in .png format. I tried to change your pic into .png using paint(since I don't have PS) and it revert the size to 325kb, way beyond the 100kb.
I'm following this guidelines:
-320x480 or lower in resolution
-Needs to be RGB or Greyscale
-Needs to be saved as a 24bit PNG with transparency enabled
-Needs to be less than 100K
Blkcadi did what I want, but the file was too big.
Please remember, the pic that I want is the one attached in the first post. Thnx!

can i ask HOW you are applying a boot logo in 3.1.2?

He might be re-pwning everytime he applies a new logo using pwnage tool to make a new custom firmware everytime. That would take forever, but I can't think of another way to apply a boot logo to an already JB'd phone.
On a related note, can you help me with these 2?
