    Default Icon editing software ?

    im starting to make my own themes and want to edit icons but with a clean and useful program can anyone point me in the right direction ?

    also how do you get icons from one phone to the iphone Ex. the droid theme - how do you get those icons?

    I personally find Photoshop to be a FABULOUS tool fo making icons. However, any image editing program, online on not, that will allow you to make PNG images, with transparency if needed, that are the correct size will work. Through my experince at least.

    As for icons from another phone, sorry I have no clue.

    Worse come to worse you could remake them. *raises eyebrow*

    yea i figured photoshop, im going to download it soon

    and does it have to be .png? i thought it just had to be resized

    yup. icons are .png files. You can also use Gimp, it's free, Google for it.

    GIMP is Photoshop for people without enough money for Photoshop and want to do things legally lol

    P.S. With my college student discount almost any program is affordable lol

    Paint.net is also a good,free alternative. It's better than Gimp IMHO.

    IcoFX It is full of bells and whistles and is free. Available for mac and windows IcoFX Transform Desktop Icons Into iPhone Icons (Freeware)
