Okay, I believe I found the answer on this forum for the question I am asking, but I wish someone would put up a guide up or at least in laymen's term for me.
Question, I am using categories SB, the one that you have to pay for in Cydia. My theme will not correlate with each individual folder all I see is a black background behind all my icons. I want to be able to get it to work with my theme. My friends 3g works fine and his theme has taken over when he opens up a folder. The old categories that loaded very slowly used to have a little "i" button in the lower right hand corner and you were able to choose the theme that the folder would use. Since upgrading that "i" is not available....I was reading a post on here and there is a way by sshing to get it to use your background or something? I need some clarification or a step by step guide...I really have an awesome theme, I don't want to see a black background behind my icons my theme is ultra smooth, i wish it correlated with the rest of my phone. If anyone has any links or even posts a guide here I would truly appreciate it.
Yeah, you have to SSH your background (and maybe loading screen) by finding the correct categories app (var/stash/applications) and replacing the background and/or default pictures.
You can put your backgrounds in /Applications/Category00X.app
Open the Info.plist inside to see the name of the category.
You can also replace the default black background Categories creates for new folders in /Applications/Categories.app/Launcher
You can still edit the prefs for your categories by starting Categories, tap Edit and then tap the blue arrow rightside of a categorie.
