I was wondering if anybody knew of a method to make the status bar clock transparent, but only on the springboard, perhaps an info.plist entry or something?

As you can see from the screenshot of my springboard, I already have the text font modified (using the info.plist) and i can set the font colour, so perhaps if there is no method of making just the springboard clock transparent, I'll change the text to black?

The only reason I want to do this is because I have a time and date widget, and just thought it's make things a bit neater
