I am trying to copy the original app icons (Reuters, Wikiamo, Facebook) so I can alter them and create my own theme. I can find them using SSH but when I transfer them, they are blank or clear. There is also a icon_small.png in each of the application folders. Fugu (I am using a Mac) isn't able to preview the files either.

The kicker is that this doesn't happen for all of the apps, I found Cydia, WinterBoard and a few others.

I've read some forums that discuss the new cache-ing of the icons, that changed in 3.0. Could this be related?
