Hello, I own an ipod touch 2g for about a year now and started getting into the cydia hack idea to get free apps, wallpapers, games and so forth a few days ago and suddenly found this website by accident. I found this skin for the battery(Apple Forums & iPhone Forums, Mods, Hacks, News, Themes, Downloads, and more! | ModMyi.com - Downloads - Last Fire Battery By Jesse..) that I want to install on my ipod that has the effect of showing the battery power if its low and high. Any good help is appreciated.

That's pretty tight.
Basically you download that batter theme and unzip the files.
Once you do that you need iPhoneBrowser (or any ssh tool) and copy all the batter files into your:
/Library/Themes/PercentBattery.theme folder (or what ever folder your current batter theme is in)
I hope this helps.

I was using the iPhoneBrowser application to put the battery skin for my ipod touch 2g but the file to put the skins in wasn't found. Any good ipod touch apps to put the skin in?

hmmm... the ipod touch layout is basically the same as the iPhone. I would suspect after you put in the images did you respring?
if so, can you send me a screen shot of the iPhoneBrowser folder structure when you are connect to your iPod?
off the top of my head i dont know of any apps that will help you do this.

ahh i see the problem. You iPod must jail broken before you can access the folders that hold this data. I would google iPod touch jail break and see what you find. Only after your iPod if jail broken can you do this.
Most apps that allow you to change these images only work on JB phones.
