Illumine Help!!

Ok So I am having issues with the Illumine Theme. When Installed it does not look like the picture below. My dock looks grey and kind of like its carbon. That is the only theme I have. I downloaded Complete Project theme from Beyouriphonerepo.com but it is not uninstalled. I have reinstalled Illumine and have rebooted my device. I have selected the transparent dock on my winterboard and still no luck. Please Help!!

Do you know how to SSH into your phone and navigate to the Illumine theme? If you do, the you need to do so and delete or change the dock. That dock is the one in the theme if I recall. I just changed mine (I am using Illumine as well right now). If you don't know how to SSH into your phone, then go to youtube and search there. There are dozens of tutorials (I recommend Dinozambas' tutorials myself)

Thanks for the reply. I do know how to SSH into my phone. I do not know how to change the dock or delete it. When I first installed Illumine it was not with the silver dock it was all black and it looked like a 6th row. Any help to delete of change the dock?

I can't imagine what would cause the dock to change, but SSHing is really going to be the best way to fix it. You can also use iFunBox to get into your phone (think windows explorer for your iphone) FunBox is a tethered (USB) method of getting into the phone as opposed to something like WinSCP, which uses WIFI to access the phone. If you like theming your phone, I would highly recommend learning how to do this, as it will allow you to customize your themes, icons, wallpapers, theme individual application, etc. Do some looking on youtube. It is very eassy to do, and very easy to learn.

Ok so I know the basics and I searched my phone for the .png file that corresponds with the silver dock and could not find it! I went into the theme folder for Illumine and the dock.png file in there is the one in the picture on my first post and still can not figure it out. I hate that silver so much I might just have to go with another theme. Any further advice?

Do you by any chance have another theme active in winterboard? If so, be sure to move the Illumine theme above all other themes, then respring the phone.

The only check mark is the Illumine theme and it is at the very top. I tried doing a search on my whole phone for the dock and anything with dock in it I opened and nothing looks like the silver checkmarks type dock. I think I am SOL. Thank you for the help so fat but nothing is working.

What kind of dock are you looking for? I have a couple of docks for the theme. I could post a couple of them.

Any other than the one on there. I tried getting another Dock.png from another theme and copying it into my Illumine Theme folder and I resprung the phone. Still the same? When you post can you tell me what folder to post?

Ok, go into the main folder of the theme (the one that has the wallpaper, dock, info plist, etc in it. delete any "Dock" file (image in there) then drag and drop this "Dock" imag e in that same main folder. then respring. I am heading to bed soon, but post your results. If you still have any questions or if it didn't work, let me know.

Still nothing. I did exactly what you said. Like I said I have nothing else installed or any other theme running. Its the only check in winterboard. Im lost. Thanks for the help. If you have anything else please post.

Ok, the next thing I would do is reinstall the theme itself. I think I would uninstall it completey, reboot the phone, and then reinstall the theme. If it still shows up wrong, then go over to macthemes.net and do a search for the illumine theme. You will find a link to download the theme to your desktop. Then go into it on your desktop and make sure it has the dock you want as the default ( properly named) dock. Then just SSH into the phone again and drag and drop the entire theme from your desktop into the "Themes" folder. Then go into winterboard and select it again. If that doesn't do it, then there is something very strange going on. Let me know if anything works.

There is something very strange going on. Still nothing. I think I will contact the creator of the theme to figure it out. It did nothing.

Just to add some detail. The dock is the original dock for the 3gs. I did a google search and zoomed in and the original dock will not change.

Just happened upon this thread here. Believe it or not, I am having the exact same issue!

Here is a question for you: did you have installed, and uninstall either the "Shrink" app, or "Iconoclasm"?

I "believe" my dock issue, started after I uninstalled those (to free up resources as I was not using them).

Did you ever find a solution?

EDIT: Well I just found the cause in my case! It was uninstalling Shrink that did it. I fixed the gray bar issue by re-installing Shrink. Very odd. Not sure why Shrink would affect theming the dock at all...but I guess I am good for now. Hope this helped you.

Ok sorry for the late reply. I fixed my problem another way. I had to download another simple theme. From there I took all the contents from the Illumine theme and combined both. I then SSHd the theme. Now I have All My Illumine Icons and no silver theme!!
