Date next to the time on top of the springboard

I went to cydia today and saw under search "Christmas Wifi Tree" there's a screenshot where the date is next to the time on top of the springboard. It shows as the following "12/6 - 11:51". This is awesome as I find myself wondering what the date is and having to leave an app and go to the calendar. The author is really cool by getting back to me when I asked how he did that. But he's not sure what package he used. Can anyone figure out how to do this?

Go to SBSettings and the press SBSettings options, from there you turn on StatusBar Date
