    Default Icon placement question

Hey everyone. I only just recently got into the whole Jailbreaking thing, and from the start I attempted to design a theme. It's actually going fairly well, but I've come across a problem. Basically I'm attempting to make a Windows 7 theme. The desktop is complete as the picture indicates, but I want to turn the category folders in the stack to form a Start menu. From a graphics standpoint I can do it, but the problem is that in order to get the icons to appear in the places I need them to be, I have to leave a considerable amount of transparent space around each icon. This becomes especially problematic when the icons overlap in an attempt to form the start menu. So basically my question is this: Is it possible to A: Make form-fitting icons with no excess space and somehow place them in specific locations, or B: Choose which icons are layered over others so that I can have the portions I need to be tapped available for that. Any and all help would be greatly appreciate. Thanks in advance.

To answer your question, no you can't drag and drop exactly where you want them, but I think you can try things like 5 Column Springboard, 5IROW, 7x7 Springboard, and 6 Icon Dock.... These probably aren't the exact names but they should be easy to find in Cydia or Rock. IMO 7x7 helps for more precise placement but of course there is the drawback of filling in the empty spaces with blank icons.

    I hope this helps.
