How to change application names on homescreen
I have tried multiple things and I don't think I am finding a solution to this problem. I would like to change the application name on my homescreen. Some from cydia and some from AppStore. I have a iPhone 3g running 3.0.1 firmware.
Any help would be great.

there should be a file in the app folder that is the display name if you change it then it will change what is on the springboard If needed I can copy a sample of one of mine

Yea definetly post some instructinos if you can.
Just let me know how to get to the folder via SSH or DiskAid and I should be able to do it.

Just install renAme in cydia
