How to get icon.png from an app store app?

I am just having trouble getting the icons from the apps that are downloaded from the appstore, like Tweetie 2 or At Bat even ebay, so I can change the for my theme. I want the original icon for the theme. Anyone know if it is possible to get the orignal icon from the app itself? I ssh'd into the app but when I copy the icon.png to my computer it is just a black box.

The best solution I can offer is going into iTunes>Programs, clicking on the app and clicking on the icon in the bottom-left corner, then screencapping it.

They are located at User/Applications folder

/\ Yeah, you can use iFile too, to see the folder from your idevice.

so ituneartwork is the icon right? and how do i figure out the correct name to make it? liek I cant figure out tweetie 2?

Yes, iTunesArtwork is the icon, just rename it to *whatever*.png

I don't know what folder Tweetie 2 uses, though

I'll give an example of the location from one of my apps.

User/Applications/25EBE7CB-C0A9-482E-A770-D50973952D5E/RealRacing.app/icon.png

To figure the name you can hold the icon like if you wanted to delete it and see the message that comes up "Delete Real Racing?" and click cancel. That will be the correct name.

Excuse me? I don't get it. We're SSHing, aren't we? In each app's folder there are only 2 files - iTunesArtwork and iTUnesMetadata.plist

When I copies the files using ssh, they would giv eme an error in PS, but I downloaded iphone browser and it worked great! THanks guys! Got what I needed.
