can someone make a lockscreen for iphone/ipod touch that unlocks like that instead of the traditional slide to unlock/tap to unlock?
hope its possible!

that would probably be more of a mobile substrate or springboard extension more than a theme. however, if anybody could make anything like this i would LOVE you for life!

hmmm...im thinking it may be possible to make one that everyone does the same pattern, but idk how you would make it customizable for each individual person.

but everybody can edit the codes then it will be self-customisable

Maybe you can change the lockscreen to look like that and when you press it changes to have that little bar thing.
Im sure its possible but it would be more then a theme.

Good idea ShadowD
ragon, if dtsk doesn't mind ill try that and see how it comes out. Do you know where the unlock program is stored and what language it uses though because I'll need to program for a different idea I have...

O good
but I'm sure what I'm about to say will lessen your level of contention: to make this so that it will look real I will actually just edit the keypad and what it looks like when the keys are pressed so to make the pressed keys link correctly I would need to know either the number combination you want to use or the shape you want to draw (from the shape I'll figure out the numbers, obviously) Because of this, this cool unlock screen should probably be kept to the forums because first, if one was to upload it to Cydia, he would immediately get emails saying it "looked stupid" when it was just because he wasn't using the correct combination, and also if uploaded, everyone would use the same combo which defeats the purpose of a lockscreen. PM me if you have a problem sharing ur unlock...though I don't know why you would

unless as I said in a previous post, someone knows the location of the keypad unlock program

damn. then it probably doesn't allow you to drag your finger across the screen.. you must tap the dots right?
-

No you cant drag, and also it wouldnt stay up. Since its DeviceLockedPad.png or whatever then DeviceLockedPadPressed.png so once u release it it goes away. So you would definately need to unlock it and change the key pad around a lot. Or maybe have an app that when u unlock your iphone or ipod touch it sets up another lockscreen that is the htc one. Would have to always be running in the background though so it would drain battery.

i dont mind if it drains battery actually... i charge it every day so it doesnt matter

But wait.. instead of running a app in the background what about my original idea: write a new keypad lockdown program and put it in the right folders in a theme...does anyone know if this will work?
