Default Hide statusbar clock on SB but not in apps??

Hi all. Is it possible to hide the statusbar clock on the springboard but have it visible in apps? I guess one way might be to use the transparent statusbar theme and customize the statusbar clock font color so that it's virtually invisible against the springboard wallpaper.....but it would still be visible against the non-transparent statusbar in apps or preference panels. In any case, I don't know how to customize the font color anyway so would need some help with this!

Anyone got some ideas on how to accomplish what I'd like to do?

    Cheers

The only way you can do that is to trick it. This is what you will need.
A status bar image. (color is your choice)
create a info.plist with the following.

    <key>TimeStyle</key>
    <string>color: xxxxx</string>
change xxxxx to the color of your status bar. Add the info.plist to your theme folder.
    If I can't mod it...I don't want it.
