Lockscreen ?

i tried a LockBackground.html/.png but can't get it working... for the font to change i created a LockFont.ttf which works, my question is 2 fold:

1. how can i increase the gap between time and date ?
2. i created a bottombarknobgray.png (which i'm not sure about) i created extra empty space on the bottom on the image to move the image up, but does not look like that works..

see screen shot, answer may both lay in a LockBackground.html.. if so, where do i store that file and is there an example that is not French :}
