how do i change this script in the lockscreen and what is the app called to do this

p.s ive found the "Finger me" package already but its boring me now want something diff maybe bespoke to me?

Edit it with a program (I prefer Notepad++: .:: NOTEPAD++ ::.)
The SSH it into your phone into "/System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/English.lproj"

Do you know how to SSH? Have you already downloaded the theme from cydia? Search for a better way to unlock

Just SSH and place in the theme folder. If you have a better tap to unlock uncheck it and check this theme.

you did want to to just replace the text right. you were not wanting it to replace the tap to unlock. right

Just the text, thanks again, i know how to edit it now for the future now too, was soo easy looking back find the string file and edit... i think Neo confused my little brain above...

He was trying to have you download the strings and then you could edit it yourself. If you put the file in the place he said it will apply to all themes. it will be the default so depending on what you want you may look to put it there. let me know if you need any more help.

guess it will apply to all now

somethings gone wrong all my alert texts are screwed like batt low and text notifications have _ and caps in wrong places????

yours is completely diff from my original file???

i just restored it back to original fie which i kept

E.G when you get a text message it says

Text Message

after adding your file

TEXt_MESSAge

etc but for everything like push notifications sim lock password THE LOT

Let me take a look

Take the file I sent and copy it to the themes folder. The file should look like
Furkz/Bundles/com.apple.springboard/en.lproj
I just tried it and it worked

I do everything in the themes folder. So I can always uncheck and back to normal. I think the only reason to do it in the main folder is because winterboard can slow things down

Good now you are able to just open that file (in notebook) and change it to whatever you want later. Glad you got it to work

Dude, follow the instructions ^ pointed out. He deserves an award for the most simple instructions.

EDIT: damn, window was open previously and i came back to it thinking no one replied. Move on...

I would say most of use here are here to learn. What iFurkz was asking was very simple. Sometimes if you just do it then let them see the finished product they can learn from seeing what was changed or done. I guess it really does not matter how someone learners something just that they learned it. I would say that is why I am here to see what I can learn.
