How to replace slider images in 3.0 (3Gs)

can somebody let me know how this is done?

i want to change the slide to unlock icon via ssh

WinterBoard:
/var/stash/Themes.xxxxxx/Theme/Bundles/com.apple.TelephonyUI

Original file:
/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/TelephonyUI.framework

File names are the same for both.
Files:
bottombarknobgray.png (slide to unlock)
bottombarknobred.png (slide to power off)
bottombarknobgreen.png (slide to answer)
