Default Dock always shows, no matter what theme

This is my first post (hi!) but Ive been using the forum for a while now, to see developments and themes etc.

Anyway, my problem is as the topic title suggests, no matter what theme I use, the grey/silver dock is ALWAYS showing. Ive tried restoring and rejailbreaking but with no luck.

I never had this problem previously (I started afresh because my phone was being so slow)

So, if anyone has any ideas what Im doing wrong, please please post!

    Thanks very much in advance

This could be a few things. Does the theme you're using change the dock? In WinterBoard try placing the theme above everything else.

if you installed icy through jailbreak REJAILBREAK!!!! icy screws up 3.0!!!

if you must have it, install it through cydia!

i had a similar problem... no matter what theme the Springboard wallpaper never changed.

if you have supreme preferences 3.0 installed make sure reflective dock is OFF!

    hope i helped

the first image (i hope) is how i see my iphone, as ive said i want to get rid of the silver/grey dock

the second is my winterboard thingy

the third is some random scarlett johanson theme. now here it gets interesting as the dock is not there! but, when i try to edit the theme to have my icons and my background (not mine as such, just what i want to use) the dock reappears! argh!

    any ideas guys?
