Skinning Stocks App 3.0

Has anyone managed to skin the Stocks app on 3.0 No matter what I try to change in the folder, nothing changes. I can't even get the background to change

No.

You could try creating a new theme in WinterBoard, creating the (Bundles > com.apple.stocks) folder and placing your files in there.
