Native App Location

Here's what I'm trying to do. I have a couple themes that I really like with some great icons. they work for most of my apps but don't seem to work for any of the apps I downloaded from the App Store. I looked through the folders on the phone and found in /var/mobile/applications a bunch of long stringed alpha-numeric named folders. so I looked through all the folders and it doesn't seem to have all the apps I have downloaded. also when I name an icon with the app name it doesn't change.

so can anybody tell me where I can find app store dl'd apps so that I can change their icons. or link me to a way to change them. That would be awesome! thanks

Which apps are you trying to change? The icons may need renaming to work.
