Mod the WeatherEye Background?

Hello everyone,

I would like to remove the black boarder around the side edges. I have checked all the image files and they are transparent. When the app is initially loading up it is clear and then once the data is loaded it goes black.

I have taken a quick look at the MetricsView.nib which looks like it might be the structure for all the window layouts.

Has anyone tried to change this?
