How To: Changing ANY carrier logo

1. Just Patch ur spring board (see attachment.............)

2. create ur own two logos of 70X20 pixel.............
save as FSO_CARRIER_ATT.png & Default_CARRIER_ATT.png
(Its easy..you can download logo from ur service provided site as modify using any picture editor)
3. replace using SSH with FSO_CARRIER_ATT as same logo
Default_CARRIER_ATT.png as inverted color ....in
system/coreservice/springboard.app
then respring or reboot

Basically patching restrict ur carrier info to FAke AT&T carrier.
& replacing of png files give ur desire logo for Fake AT&T.
i have checked with 1.1.2. its working great.

i have v1.4 and customize doesn’t work for me... cause i used ziphone newest version... or whatever...

is there a way to just over write the original carrier logos with custom ones... kinda like edge, sliders, masks, wifi, signal strength, dialer... and so on?

if so where should i paste my modded carrier logos... and i am having the same prob with the battery themes as well

when i changed mine i had to change the default icons in 2 different locations so that when i clicked over from the main screen it kept the new icon, i dont remember them now but if someone can post them again it would be really appreciated

I dooo reeeeally recommend that you install MiM=Make It Mine from Erica in Installer..then you´ll change the carrier name quicker than you can say "iPhone rules"...

How does this all work with 2.2? I tried and it gave me an error when trying to upload it using diskaid 2.0. Is there some other trick for 2.2? I've looked all over the place, and it just seems that there is just info on pre-2.x FW's for iphone.

I would like to know this as well...I tried the patched Springboards, but to no avail Seems they are not working for 2.2.1?
