About Ipod Touch 2G 3.0

hi every one... im still a newbie and i need assistance from you master modders.

i have ipod touch 32gb 2G with 3.0 firmware [jailbreak]...i want to change the "iPod" label at the upper left of the screen, change it to my initials, can any one guide me on this...also the batt color if possible...i tried to find it using disk aid in the root folder but could not locate any of them. pls guide. thank you so much...links will do too

there is something in cydia called make it mine which allows you to change the text on the top and banner. You can also ssh into your ipod touch and make a custom image to replace the text. the only problem with make it mine is that you can't change the font or design, only the text. If you just won't something basic use make it mine if you want a more intricate design you need to ssh. Hope that helps!

thanks mate, got it already...trying to read resources as of now on how to modify thing in itouch..this community really helps ^_^
