I've tried searching the forums with no luck.

I'm hoping someone can tell me what directory the UI Images are located in FW 3.0.

Also looking for the location of the bundles (com.apple.springboard, etc.)

Any help GREATLY appreciated. Trying to get a complete stock folder system set up for future themes.

Having just jailbroken my 3GS, this is where I found the springboard graphics files:

/System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app

Found those. Also found the .png's in the individual applications.

Looking for the UI images. Like the spinning wheel, button outlines and fill etc.

I'll keep digging and use this thread to post my findings.

Any idea of the new file names for topbarbkgnd.png and bottombarbkgndlock.png in OS 3.0? I can't seem to locate it..

stupid apple changed it so it's hardcoded in; there's no image for the background of Messages anymore =|

There is a way to get a background there though, it's called setwallpaper or somethin' on the ************* repo

sms background is now supported with the new update to WB. not sure what the name of it is but im sure someone will get it soon.

also to find new images just start with the mobileme 3.0 theme as that nails alot of the UI images. my new theme will theme everything possible but that wont be out for a bit. thats my suggestion for now
