change the text alert popup

i want to change the background to the text alert popup, similar to the volume hud but when I place the new image in winterboard it it replaces the background but the image is chopped up and twisted(not really sure hot to describe it)

the problem is probably that i dont know the correct image size. so does anyone know the image dimensions or maybe whatever else is causing the problem

Im not sure the image size trying to do it manually but you can dl Popup Colors in Cydia.

They have 7 different colors to pick from w no distortion to the text.

Aqua, Black, Green, Orange, Pink, Purple, Red, Yellow.
