    Default "Slide to unlock"

Hi, this is really starting to annoy me now! Im using the Buuf2 theme but want to change the slider text from "buuf2". Now I know I have to edit the string "springboard.strings" but how can I edit it? Ive found 100s of guides but none seem to work and most are purely for macs.

Unfortunately im using windows so does anyone know of a program that will let me edit the strings?!

    Thanks.

Notepad++ is a good way to edit it on Windows.

Ok guys, I have successfully changed my Slider Text on 3.0. Here is how:

    1. Download the file I am providing
    2. Unzip the .rar file
    3. Navigate to Slidertext.theme/Bundles/Com.apple.Springboard/en.lproj/SpringBoard.springs
    4. Open strings file using Notepad ++
    5. Edit text located inside the Quotations to your liking. I uploaded my personal one to give you an idea. It should have no more characters than mine or it will be too long.
    6. Once completed, SSH into the phone and copy the theme back into the themes folder @ root/library/themes and then enable the theme in Winterboard.

That is all you need to do.
