Downloading

Hey,
Im new on this i dont really know what to do once i have downloaded say a slider off this site and i download it with WinRAR. Once i have done that i havent a clue on how to get it onto my ipod touch.

Any ideas??

If the package has png files named :
bottombarknobgray.png
bottombarknobgreen.png
bottombarknobred.png

Place them in the this location on your iPhone using ssh. Be sure to extraxt the Rar file before trying to transfer it. Once you have finished the transfer, the phone should require a reboot before showing the new sliders.

/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/TelephonyUI.framework

I would suggest backing up the old ones. If the package is different, then it's most likely to be used with winterboard.

download ssh on cydia then bossprefs to toggle it on
make sure your computer and iphone are on the same wireless
download a
program called cyberduck create a connection
under user put

root and for password put alpine

to get the ip address go into settings click the wireless network your on iphone and enter that in cyberduck make sure you are on the same network and on the shh tab the port has to be 22

damn, these last two responses just made it seem a lot more complicated then what it is.

If your ipod is already jailbroken, make sure you have winterboard installed (from cydia) and go on youtube and search for "how to ssh into ipod/iphone". After that's set and done all you have to do with the theme you downloaded is drag and drop it into the /library/themes/ folder, then just open winterboard and select it.... you're done. Hope it helps you out.
