sure you can.

silver apple logo is located at:

/System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/applelogo.png

you can put whatever you want there.

i just changed the applelogo.png, but when i turn on the phone, it still shows up the silver apple, i only see the orange apple only when it starts to shrink. any inputs on this?

I can't get a different apple logo to work either.

Yeah I tryed this with customize. I thought there was a metal blue one that someone posted that would be sweet
