Question regarding UI Popups, landscape and 5 column springboard

As i tried a landscape theme today i was asking myself if there was a possibility to edit the popup messages like "new sms", "battery low-warning" etc. so, that they show up in landscape mode too.

The next big problem: as this landscape theme is built for 5-column-springboard and my funny iphone really likes the "safe mode" (like 10 times a day after writing sms etc) all icons are re-arranged by safe mode due to just running in 4 columns. Is there a possibility of either getting rid of safe mode or rearranging the icons every time my phone crashes into it?

download lockdown from cydia, in the settings you can lock apps in there place, therefore you are unable to move them. This may stop them shuffling round
