I just changed mine two seconds ago, no need to go into the .artwork files anymore, just make the transparent 1x96 png as before, but title it BarLCD.png and put it in your telephonyUI with your bottombarbkgndlock.png and it'll get rid of the top bar

    Default Thank you!
I was just about to attempt to do everything including altering the artwork file until I saw your message.. I literally spent like over an hour trying to figure everything out and then I saw your answer at the very bottom.. I easily changed the image and now my top bar is the way I want it to be! Thanks Calmfixup!

    Bottom bar behind slider:
Same dimensions, same file name as my first post (bottombarbkgndlock.png / 1x96px)
The new file will be placed in /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/TelephonyUI.framework

Bar behind iPod controls on lockscreen:
Same dimension, same file name (SBLockScreenControlsLCD.png / 1x156px)
The new file will be placed in /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app

The last and final image is a pain. I can tell you what you need to do, but I haven't personally done this (I haven't had any problems with WinterBoard, I try not to have a lot of themes going on at once).

The last image can be found in: /System/Library/Frameworks/UIKit.framework
The next file you be looking for is called Other.artwork. This is were it gets fun. Inside the .artwork file are a bunch of small .png files crammed together. You'll need a program like iPhoneShop to be able to pull the .artwork file apart just to see the .png images. From there you'll have to go through each file to find the one you want to edit. The bad thing about this is that the images don't have a proper name like UILCDBackground.png when using WinterBoard. The names consist of letters and numbers. Once you find the proper file and mod it, you'll have to use that same program (iPhoneShop) to combine the .png files back into a .artwork file and it has to be named Other.artwork. Place it back where you got it and you'll be done.

I hope this helps you. Sorry if the last step is a little confusing. I tried to explain it the best way I could think of.
thank you so much, I finally made it ! the point is in the "UILCDBackground.png" file after extracting "Other.artwork". This is my edited file, hope this helpful

Still have the grey line at the bottom after using that going right through the clock/time.
Edit: Wow, Even completely deleting the other.artwork file doesn't remove the line there.

This thread isn't for iOS 6 so that's why there is still the grey line. At a guess that file could be apart of the [email protected]k file which I'm not sure it can be extracted yet?

I thought they could be extracted? Someone extracted the other.artwork in another thread.

Ahh ok, sorry I said I wasn't too sure. Looks like iOS 6 has been extracted
    UPDATE:

iOS 6 SUPPORT IS HERE! Download the New iOS Artwork Extractor here:

    CLICK ME!

Have you gone back to that original thread where it's extracted the "other.artwork"? The file you are looking for I'm guessing is like 1px by 6-10px high an then stretched across the lockscreen like the rest of the lock bars.

in my case deleting the other.artwork file removes the line. I tried editing every png file but the line's still there.
Any solution to find out which .png files need to be edited to remove that line and also the shadow above ? I'd very appreciate it

Where is this "other" artwork located? I have extracted both lots of iOS 6 "[email protected]" and "[email protected]~iphone.artwork" and looked thru those files with no luck.

    so just a recap:

i you delete the other.artwork file from iOS6, the lines are gone?
So it is one of those files.

I've looked through .plist files to identify the source, but can't find it.
I also (well we all) need to delete that line of shade.

Does any one knows where the source file is of the lock screen?
You can alter that file and just leave the lines out.... or not?

That "other" artwork isn't in iOS 6.

Any iOS 6.1 LS on Cydia that doesn't have the lines in the screenshot will have the file you need in theme/UIImages folder...
