Custom boot logo problem!
I tried making my own in photo shop but every time i choose it in quick freedom it tells me:
"Your Boot Logo image does not have transparency, and may not work!"
I don't want to mess up my iPod, so please help me.
Ill attach it so you can see.
All i put was the text and the little character. the rest is transparent.Currently addicted to Modern Warfare 2! add me on PSN: A_Mexican_guy

I'm not a pro on iPod touches, but is there a Quickpwn for the 2G iPod Touch?
If so, I would suggest using it and going into the data folder replacing logo.png in there, that is what I do and it works, but idk about touches.

Another solution is to upload the image to the internet, and use LogoMe from Cydia to install the custom boot logo. This is a very easy process, but it does work.

The boot logo must be in RGB color format and contain 1 Alpha channel (transparency)

If I've helped you, you can help me by clicking on that Thanks button.
