there is nothing that a theme can do that unselecting that theme will not undue.

I'm running the 3.0 beta 4, so I can't use winterboard. What plist file on the iPhone does the main Info.plist file in a theme actually modify?"In computer networking, a Media Access Control address (MAC address) is a unique identifier assigned to most network adapters or network interface cards (NICs) by the manufacturer for identification, and used in the Media Access Control protocol sub-layer." (1)
"The Macintosh, or Mac, is a series of several lines of personal computers designed, developed, and marketed by Apple Inc." (2)

it doesnt... the info.plist of the theme (the one that this thread is referring to) is not a "hook" of a default plist... its more like a "feature" of winterboard... its confusing because everything else in the theme is just hooking default files, but not this one... That is why i made this reference... because without it, there is no good way of knowing exactly what can go in the plist... its basically whatever Saurik wants there.

Does anyone know if it's possible to change the font of the date on the lock screen?
I've successfully changed the font of the lock screen clock using the key value FontName-.Lock Clock but I can't find any info on whether the same can be done for the date.

leram84 I know this is an old post but stumbled across it. In the status bar mode section. I was fumbling around in the CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/DefaultApplicationState.plist file and found that the status bar is a different key "in call" the value is 103 and there is a value "com.apple.mobileslideshow-Camera" which uses a key 104. Are those ones WB supports?
04-05-2010, 12:04 PM #27
Honestly im not really sure... I'm pretty sure we were still on 2.x fw when i made this, and 103 and 104 were not usable strings. this might have something to do with the addition of the tethering status bar, but i really don't know.
The best way to find out is just trial and error, you can't do any damage adjusting plist's in wb, so just go ahead and mess with the values, thats how i figured most of this stuff out.

Old thread I know, but I found two more while rooting around today
And a handful more:
Please bear in mind, I have not tested these, I'm simply picking them out of the source code without context.

Regarding the CALENDAR_ICON_DAY_NUMBER_FORMAT & DAY_NAME_FORMAT, aren't those in the system directory, and not controlled bu the Info.plist of a WinterBoard theme ?

Hi and congratulations for this topic
But the StatusBarMode doesn't seem to work for me. Anyone else?

Speaking of status bar, @ leram84, do you know of any means to change the battery percentage style ?

I'm trying to remove the grey rounded background on docked icons. The icons look fine when not docked so I'm hoping this is configurable (completely transparent around the image).

It is an image you're seeing, 'WallpaperIconDockShadow'
Download this, unzip the file and put it in the /var/stash/Themes.xxxxx directory of your device.
Select that new theme which will now show up in WinterBoard and make sure it is above any other armed theme, if not, drag it all the way up. Hit respring in WinterBoard to see the dock shadows made translucent.
