The source to a working summerboard fix provided by ipod-touch-master.com
1. add the following source to your installer: http://ipod-touch-master.com/files/repo.xml (remove the hyphens)
2. then with-in the installer app under summberboard fix categoary apply smb themes fix

New BossPrefs v1.60 has a button in "more" section called "Fix User Dir Permissions" that will solve this. Just run that button everytime you install a new theme with this problem and then respring or reselet the theme in summerboard.

Hi, I am also having the same problem. I have installed symmerboard 3.2. I have also installed a couple of themes fron installer\themes(summerboard). When clicking and checking for themes in SMB prefs there are no themes showing in there. I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice but no luck. Am i missing a certian application or source? Please help

Should I just restore and start all over? I just don't know what else to do.

For all of you that are ssh savvy try changing the permissions on Installer to 755. That should stop the main execution error.

For those of you with smb issues try changing permissions to 755 on your smb prefs app and on the summerboard folder in your library where the themes are kept. You will also need the fix for 1.1.3/1.1.4. Hope that works.

If the themes you download arent visible to select it's because it's putting them a folder they don't belong in. For instance
I just installed a theme for summerboard when I ssh I find it in /private/var/root/Library/SummerBoard/Themes
The problem is that it belongs in /private/var/mobile/Library/SummerBoard/Themes
All you have to do is move them to the correct fold and make sure your permissions are set correctly
The same issue occured with customize files installed to /private/var/mobile/Library/Customize
But they belonged in /private/var/root/Library/Customize

Good luck
